Thanks Blairs - mine is east facing, with about 1 hour max of morning direct light, then just bright light. I will try to mist it more frequently though, as probably haven't done this enough.

Thanks Dove - I have misted the leaves though...and it is in a cool room without a strong radiator and no double glazing

I'll try repotting though.

Ah yes, the joys of garden centres that have friendly pet cat, fish tank, even cool ornamental animals to look at - all add up when trying to get that precious 15 minutes alone to choose a plant, without kids

That said, my 6 yr old is a star and loves garden centres so much (I trained her well from an early age), that I have a new 'problem' now: she goes and gets her own trolley, then proceeds to liAd it up with "all the plants we need for our garden because they are so pretty", leading to much deliberation and compromise before reaching the tills

Slugs

Nematodes work a treat to keep slugs away from my plants.

Not cheap, but they do work for about 3 months after one application.

Liking the sound of these organic pellets!

Yes- I stupidly bought some in France once, thinking I could with a bit of a detox...then had a vat-full over the day and was up half the night on the loo
