Morning, just, all.

Back from my 2 mile round trip to Morrisons. Takes for ever though as keep meeting folk & chatting en route. B cold out there, sun shining, yes a frost first thing, but with the wind washing out & flapping well.

Good luck Bjay. I'm usually being Mrs Mop the day before nurse arrives, ie today, but did it all earlier in week this time.

Think will change into scruffs & well wrap up to finally go & sort out the pot saucers. They just need a stiff brush over/out & then will have morer space in greenhouse.

1st shoots on the big dahlias & my chocolate cosmos. Wonder which 2 dahlias they are? At least the posh German named one, daughter's bargain at £5, is also starting.

Right snack lunchtime & get busy. J.

I'm back for a bit. Had a good veggie stir-fry with noodles, no room for a pud!

OH going to stay over at 'little house' this w/end. Forecast not good for driving over the Pennines on Friday & he cant leave work until mid afternoon. I shall be all on my tod, but swallowing regular painkillers after the last home treatment this Friday- assuming nurse gets here.

Daughter may turn up to continue collecting her 'stuff', but it all depends on state of roads etc. I'm going to walk up to local supermarket tomorrow to get a few bits then will be fine until Tues.

This laptop is refusing to let me 'see' certain clips, despite installing all I was supposed to! Cant be bothered to try & sort it. J.

Too true Glyn. Thought I'd finished with all that, but the drugs have caused it to restart.   BTW cardis are useful- undo etc, when my fingers decide to work that is.....J.

Sorting out this house is taking forever Bunny. Once, if, the weather warms up, you can find me outside & s*d the sorting inside!

As for decorating- hmm, when OH feels like taking time off work perhaps, as long as he doesnt expect me to stop gardening to help!

BTW I gave in & bought a size up pr of jeans . Weird though as was wearing same make, a size smaller, honestly.....

Oh yes, 4 trays of germinated Cosmos this morning in propagator!

Still to watch GW as been pootling around threads. Right can of worms I see. J.

What's the weather like in your area?

Afternoon all.

Dull, vaguely dampish sort of day here.

Sorted out the 3 drawers of sideboard first thing. We have a good charity collection tomorrow. I even went to neighbour to get another bag.

I went down to Lowry Outlet mall for some retail therapy this morning & a coffee, of course. Anyway got OH some more jeans, correct length & daughter has a replacement dust-buster so I can keep her other one!! She bought it originally for use in her car, but somehow I find it more use than her.....

Have spent this afternoon doing a clothes sort out- mine. Rule is buy one, throw away/charity at least 1 'old' item. Am now feeling smug & charity bags full.

Am going to watch last weeks GW next. Let's see if I can stay awake.. J.

I have to share my passage with the neighbours!

OH's little house alleyway set up is shared with at least 4 houses. Very disconcerting having strangers from up the road wandering past the back door/window, neither having frosted glass. So breakfast taken with the blinds pulled well down. People have to pull all the wheely bins through everybody elses' garden to get to their own space, each garden having 2 side gates.

I suppose if you imagine a T shape set up, OH has the first house on RHS & immediate neighbour the first on LHS. It's apparently quite a common set up around there with a row of terrace houses. J.

March in your Garden

Tree surgeon Rain.

BTW why Hellebores inside? They are totally hardy. I'd just tuck the pots next to a wall outside & leave them be. They do take for ever to germinate, but best from fresh seed. So if your dont want to show this time perhaps try again with some seed from this yrs flowers? I've got a few pots of 'babies' from my Ashwood plants. Wonder what they'll be like? J.
