Bjay it's way too early for Morning Glory seeds, honestly. They'll end up looking very poorly pretty quickly unless the nightime temps improved dramatically. First week of May is my time for doing those. J.

Afternoon all.

Becks, same weather here today. I had to go up to the bank, to grumble, & boy it was cold walking. The snow started just as I got home, so got the stiff washing back inside pronto. It's not taken much tumbling to dry it properly though.

Was going to do some seed sowing yesterday, & then today, but noway am I going down to the shed/greenhouse to freeze in that wind. Garden faces East, brr. It's snowing again now. J.

What's the weather like in your area?

Sunny in Manchester at the mo, but we've had snow flurries & the wind is freezing. The washing came back inside as stiff as a board!

Well below freezing last night, but actually not much frost around. Only about 1-2C out there now. J.

Murder may be commited- OH has u-tube on full (?) volume telling him how to fit the wardrobe doors at daughters'. I cant hear myself think, let alone the tv!!

Back/hip trouble long-standing with OH. He does actually think that some recent 'episodes' were related to the kidney stone, but this is definitely caused by lugging Ikea stuff up narrow stairs etc etc.J.

Damp to start off this morning. Then it sort of tried to brighten up, then even more rain. Cold all day & am watching the back garden temperature drop as I type. (Sensor attached to shed & 'sends' details to 'main' in the lounge.)

I re-wrapped all the patio pots yesterday. Only 1 casualty this yr so far.

Am more worried to all my cuttings & some houseplants in my porch. The front doors' letterbox fell off last evening! Some bubblewrap now sellotaped over the hole, still allowing the postie access. OH will try to fix tomorrow, I hope. J.

Too cute for it's own good-ahhh.

OH has now hurt his back assembling Ikea wardrobe for daughter. I've just discovered that he's got all the strong painkillers back at little house. He's not having our household last packet!

Daughter has found the missing clock hand for her grandaughter clock. I've found the instructions, she should have pendulum, but hope she's got the key........

Now watching an oldish Lewis & repeated Foyles' War on later. J.

Mascapone stirfry- vegs stirfried, mascapone mixed in, topped with grated cheese & grilled. Plus yummy fresh bread, Sainsbury's, salad & vino here. OH can have pancakes for pud should he want one.

Am having to suddenly get used to catering for only1 or 2 again here- weird. J.

Our front is sunny too. Kitchen at the front of the house, but side of extended garage blocks a lot of the 'view'. We also have an alleyway to one side. Fence lowish, so sitting out there would be like a goldfish bowl. Not me. I go & sit in the back & annoy my neighbour instead! Her decision to keep the joint fence low......

Daughter's new place has a very sunny back patio. Fences not too high further down the garden, so 1 neighbour's garden/workshop well in view from back room/patio. Eventually she plans to have the 'garage demolished. It's raised up, but the ground beneath is lower than the patio, so she may have a sunken seating are there J.
