I's here!

Bjay, well done.

Lottie- just throw the book at them, if you can do. It's about time the kids today, & their parents, learnt responsibility. Also that not everyone can be top/come first- .

Horrendous journey to hospital this morning. Finally got parked about 15mins walk away & ended up very late for appointment. Dozy main reception staff, who seemed to think my appointment was fiction (wrong word, but brain not working). They couldnt find my notes & grudgingly gave me more directions to correct dept, where total difference in attitude.

Yet another female doctor who wanted to know where I got my bright pink coat from. Scan last week was better than previous, but my weight oh dear........ Practically discharged from that dept., but will need to see my consultant, or her team sometime soon. Arranged for that appointment to be still at that hospital, despite the lack of parking, as the alternative would be horrendous....

Had lunch at M&S & did a bit of food shopping, but too shattered to do more. Back home, rested, then back out to wash the car, in the rain as you do.

Another hospital clinic tomorrow........

Going to do pasta now. J.

Started out very early, just above freezing, with a definite frost on OH's car & the grass.

Windy, dull, but dry this morning, so risked putting some washing out. Daughter got back in about lunchtime. Started to rain early afternoon, so I washed my car when I got home. Uses less water when it's already wet. J.

of Manchester here.

To whoever asked, yes it's a condensing boiler.

Totally stuffed- have eaten, & drunk, far too much & I bet they want to weigh me at the hospital tomorrow.... Not even sure if the jeans I wanted to wear will fit!

Daughter is clearing/cleaning up! About 'b' time too. J.

Sorry to bore you Geoff!

Becks I thought so too, but apparently not......

It's almost worse than having a toddler/baby wake up & demand attention. You can almost set your clock by it though, so although I shall set my alarm for tomorrow, I'll already have been woken about 5-10mins earlier........ oh & 2hrs earlier when OH leaves for work. J.

I have just been told they are cooking the meal. Hmm, since it'll be me who clears up regardless, shouldnt worry, but.......

Because it's not been cold today, we allowed the heating to come on at the scheduled time & yep, whistling again, just as this morning & yesterday..... Have showed OH the advice Norm2 gave me. OH not impressed. Well have told him to get in touch with big chief at company, since he, OH, was happy to takeover/muscle in on all the arrangements before when it wouldnt be him, OH, who was going to be inconvenienced.

Somehow this is going to be down to me I think, later in week when am around to make a call, after I'ved nagged OH to no avail & started WW3! J.

Afternoon all.

Snow all gone, as has the heavy rain. Sun appeared, washing went outside ! & almost dried. Ironing now done & rest on airer.

Birds being pains agin by being absent. Squirrels well in evidence.

Cake baking being done, by daughter not OH so slightly less mess. Ah, something slightly over done,  so I expect a 2cnd attempt may be done as somebody's birthday cake.

Now to check if A-Z gardening got recorded. J.

WManchester- Heavy rain overnight. Awoke to no snow except a small heap where a neighbour had cleared his drive. Our drive all clear- am glad I didnt waste my limited energy clearing it yesterday.

We've had sunshine & a couple of stiff showers. Blustery wind. Washing almost dry & already ironed. Need to tie up a small evergreen that got squashed open by the snow.

Birds on/off feeders most of the day. J.

Sober, despite vino! Cleared up kitchen & been sorting out a cupboard upstairs. OH has the remote so no chance of anybody else getting a look-in. Repeats of the celeb baking on. Acceptable.

Raining here too. It's warmer outside now than it was mid afternoon.

Forgot- daughter found an insect house for £3 at Morrisons! Honestly not worth my effort of cutting old canes up etc for that price.

Off to continue with my sewing. Night all, J.

Jean horrendous journey, poor you. I couldnt believe the news this morning. I know we are lucky here, but Wigan way got it worse the last time too.

Gary birds on our fence count around here!

Daughter has decided that I can redo the birdwatch tomorrow morning, whilst watching the tennis maybe? It always happens - all the regulars do a vanishing act on 'the day'.

Have just been sampling homemade foccatia dipped into oil/balsamic vinegar, now to get round to doing my sauce to go with whatever is left. J.

Hi all.

Lots of snow came down overnight. If the rain doesnt wash it off the front OH is going to have to dig his car out for monday morning. Blowed if I am going to do it.

Daughter & me walked up to the mayhem that is our local Morrisons' this morning. Didnt need much but had no intention of using car, 2 rucksacks fine. Builders were spotted going into nearby cafe for breakfast/snack. Cars sliding around, carpark/access road not been gritted, people driving stupidly etc etc.

Daughter sort of doing birdwatch, but they've all b*****d off!

Been downloading bits for my Kindle. Problem is if I want all the complete books I've sampled, no £ left on my card-oops.

Now shall catch up J.
