Thanks to you all for you responses.

I have broke them in half and there is not a strong smell of any of the comments given to me. I will try a sample over the weekend, because there was another load of them in the garden last night. Who needs dark rooms to grown mushrooms.

It would be well over a year since the road side was sprayed with weed killer. I do have a couple of variegated plants in the area.

Is it worth digging them up and moving them to where the could spread more?

Hello, Has anyone seen on e of these Daisy's before, we spotted it in our lawn at the weekend. There are only 2 plants we could see with these leaf markings.
