sick honeysuckle

Hi I have a summer flowering honeysuckle. It is two years old. Last year it flowered really well. This year it has grown well but I have noticed in the last week that the leaves look a little yellow and black and droppy also the flowers are very weak. I think its been getting sufficient water and not over watered. Any suggestions woudl be most welcome.

Bedding Plants poor showing

Can anyone advise. I have put a lot of bedding plants in and they are really disappointing so far. For instance Marigolds with hardly any foliage and flowers that are very poor. The marigolds are in the same setting as last year where they really thrived.

I am having simialr problems with pansies and begonias.

Pruning advice for Winter Honeysuckle

Posted: 02/05/2014 at 12:54

Ahh! Maybe I should move it to a location that will allow it a bit more space. I have some annuals in that area just now. Would it be ok to prune it now and move it at the end of the summer?

Many thanks for such great ideas. I will enjoy looking at the various plants. Something cheery at this difficult time.

Thanks again.

Hi all, my Dad died suddenly and peacefully last week. I am wanting to plant something that will be in bloom at the time of year to remind me of him. I'm an inexperienced gardener and so something easy would be best. I have a south facing, medium size garden. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have a 18 month old Star Jasmine. I'm not sure if I should prune it or not. It hasn't grown that vigorously since I bought it.

Hope you can help.

Sad looking Forsythia- Goldmine

Thanks all, just need to be a bit more patient I guess.

The cyclamen I a mini collection I got from B&Q in Oct/Nov. The label that came with doesn't have the variety on them, just calls them a mini collection. I'me really pleased with them. They were featured on one of the last few episodes of Gardeners' world in 2013.

I planted this Forsythia Goldmine in August 2013. It was a nice example and quite busy and I was expecting some flowers and it to be in full leaf at this time of year. It has lost more leaves today.

Any suggestions or helpful advice.
