Theres a good shade article on the website somewhere. Make sure choices are child friendly... Strawberries should be ok in shade. They may get eaten when you're not looking though!

Stella should do, but worth checking on a fruit tree website or in a catalogue

What fruit veg could i plant in a shady garden(peas, strawberries)?

Broad beans & peas should be ok but french beans prefer full sun. Could try dwarf broad bean variety. Tomato plants worth a try. Cherry tomato type usually smaller plants. Rhubarb. Lettuce fine in part shade so worth a try. Goes well in cotainers as less slug damage! Hope this helps...

Can anyone suggest "stir fry" type chilli plants suitable for the house without attracting aphids or getting sticky leaves?

Are there any which in addition can survive central heating in the winter?

Also interested in same Qs 4 aubergines.
