I have been busy weeding and potting on today. Seedlings are still not growing

Can you grow them in pots away from the salt ? Can you provide them with some protection in the ground. Any thing is possible, if you are willing to put the effort in and you do not mind the time and cost if it is disappointing.

It has been a glorious day, I have done hours of weeding and planting out dahlias but do not seem to have made a dent in the list of jobs.

I have had this too, plastic gloves and a little washing up liquid on your fingers and you can rub them off. If you are in a non hosepipe area you could blast them off but I agree with Muddyfork squishing is better.
