April in Your Garden

How does that happen, you go to bed with a dry day forecast and a long list of jobs and you get up and they have changed the forecst to match the weather.

Wintersong your garden is very tidy, mine is currently looking a little windswept.

I did a slug run last night, got loads f them plus 5 cutworms, not sure my lupins will survive if it keeps raining.

Seeds as wedding favours

Love-in-the mist. Foxgloves, Violas, Sweet Williams.

This sounds like a lovely idea but in reality, gardeners want to grow specific plants and seeds are hard work for non gardeners.

Geraniums not flowering

I have some geraniums that I grow for their scented leaves and they have miniscule flowers.

What did you feed them with? I use a tomato feed which mine seem to like.

Oh backyardee, my parents had this problem a few years ago and ended up fencing the entire garden, even though my dad is quite a good shot. Yvie is also plagued by rabbits so you will have her sympathies later.

I have been to the GC and bought a rescue lavander and gave in and bought a Queen Victoria lobelia, having failed to grow it from seed. The sun came out for an hour so I was able to pot them on but raining again now.

Lottie camping ?really? this weekend? How much are they paying you?

Yvie my parents have just gone through a change of recycling too, it was very difficult to explainhow leaving rubbish outside your house for 3 weeks just in case they turned up  was not a great idea.
