I agree she is great, even today when I was sowing seeds,  I covered my seeds in grit a la CK . I have followed many of her tips with good results.

MULCHING..!!!

I used newspaper in my front garden before I covered it with gravel and it worked very well for me.

I cannot believe it woke up to blue skies and sunshine, I have managed a good 3 hours gardening this morning. I did a couple of chores that were bothering me and there was planty of weeding. I also cut down more of next doors Armadii. Time for tea and toast.

sweet peas in pots

Sweet peas are hungry plants, you will need large pots and they will need to be heavy enough to balance the supports for the sweet peas.

I have done it, you will need to feed/water frequently. I also grew Morning Glory in the same pots and they were a nice combination.

The mistake I made on Monday was to leave all the clematis prunings on the side path, so I cannot do anything till I move them.
