Talkback: Caring for naturalised bulbs

Posted: 06/03/2012 at 03:15
Dear Pippa, will you have to wait until the bulbs have been lifted and devided to find out whether the blind bulbs have responded to feeding, would you have to mark them to follow their progress, will they be good next year or is it the long wait. Kay

I am always intregued by new things even though it takes me some time to get into them, I don't really know what I think of this new format as I haven't found my way around everything but I love Gardeners World so I will have to try this new format. A friend gave me a fruit smells like a lemon looks really weird with finger like tendrils at one end I think Chinese. in the room the smell is fresh really delisuose to smell but inediblejust full of pith. can you name this plant please.

Talkback: Chickweed

Posted: 24/11/2011 at 15:28
I have been inundated with chick weed brought in in bags of bought compost, I know this as being right as I used to tend my Aunties window box with the same make soil and the window box in no time was smothered in chick weed.

I have to get rid of a tree that is really no good, I have purchased a new tree but on small rootstock, intend growing in the ground rather than a pot, how far from the original tree should I plant it. the garden is small.

Talkback: How to clean and repair your garden shed

Posted: 24/11/2011 at 15:28
I love the idea of doing the shed clean up, but walking down my garden would be a no no, now the snow is melting my heavy clay is a quagmire, and would be completely ruined, not that I would be able to stay on my feet as I garden on a steep hill and I would be slip sliding away.
