Lyn I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum, as we know life isn't fair but some people seem to get all the bad stuff x  Hugs for you and all your family.

Lily, pleased to hear that your dear friend is managing to eat a little and hope the sickness has passed, it will be a long haul but I'm sure she'll get there x

Fishy sending hugs to Mrs F and hope she's improving.

Verdun hope you are having success moving Mum.

If I've missed anyone, sorry.

Ian thank you for the photo

flowerlover I can't blame Yorkshire air for my lack of success, must be me

Cangran, I think the big difference is the low temperature and shade that they require, saying that I've had no success  maybe I scared them by looking at them twice a day. Hope you are succesful if you give them a go.

Going back to original question about them coming true I know Punkdoc grows them succesfully from seed and Fidgetbones has also done so, but I think hers turned out pink this last year.

I hope you have success, I've bought 6 plants over the last few years and have managed to keep two from last year alive, but they didn't flower. I understand they like slightly acidic conditions, moisture and cool weather. They grow well in Scotland & the Lake District, but either don't like Yorkshire or don't like me.  I've never seen one in flower and it's one I'd love to see.

Photos would be greatly appreciated.
