I would just use whatever best preserves the wood as your wisteria will in time cover it and you can stand pots of things at the base of the posts to add interest and draw the eye. Have you considered making some trellis to put horizontally across the back to hide the shed

Yes I have  sweet peppers " California wonder" and "Corno di Toro Rosso" sown and in heated propagator along with tennis ball sized patio aubergines "Ophelia" 3 different chillies will soak overnight in cold tea and join them tomorrow.

I'm excited because I've been sowing seeds and have compost down my finger nails doesn't take much to get me going

How did I guess that it was Lesley who broke the forum 

Got MPC and perlite from B&Q also 8 new black buckets for toms, big domestic ones, that need handles removing and holes drilling in the bottom £1 each 90p for old folks Tomato food, and some screws..well OH had to get something.  

I've sown some seeds    but will post on done any gardening today thread.
