Lesley I've Googled  and I was wrong It was Nerissa and Katherine Bowes Lyon that were locked away from view. Aunts not cousins of the Queen.

Anyone done any gardening today?

All Toms & Aubergine gone into GH  and wrapped up, they are growing too fast in conservatory..wish me luck!  They should be okay and we have had some cold nights in conservatory and tonight should be mild.

Peppers and chillies still cosseted in the dining room, so a tray on my knee again tonight

Begonias put into their planters in GH as they now have six leaves each. Dahlia tubers are growing well in their new buckets in GH.

Lots of potting on to do tomorrow.

No coriander for the curry tonight    as only 2 from 24 have germinated

Panic stations about sowing new herbs, thrown the old ones out today, I wanted a fresh start as they were woody and not too good last year.  Still haven't sown my bunching spring onions in cells should have done them a month ago

Radishes are showing

Stacey at the second sowing I now have 4 from 6 willies germinated

I sent some seeds to my friend in Greece for the novelty value and he has full germination but it is 20C at night and more in the day. he can't wait to pass some on to the Greek locals and see their faces when they mature
