Fidget, Dad can't be discharged if  hospital are informed that there isn't anyone at home to look after him and the house is unoccupied, if Mum is elsewhere having the rest & sleep she much needs then he will have to stay in or go into respite. Good luck x

Fidget I'm glad Mum will get some sleep and maybe ask if  they will do a mental assessment and he might stay in longer and eat & drink as directed. Hugs x

In my 20's & 30's Christmas day tradition was a large  bloody Mary for breakfast so I could face the day after staying out until 2am  Now Xmas eve is spent veg preparing and other foodie things with a nice glass of vino or three with carols playing and a good old sing along.   

I do have certain naff ornaments that have to be displayed ..well it is for kids even if I'm an old one

Xmas morning I do have one CD I always play when opening our pressies, only opened them once on Xmas eve and it spoilt Xmas morning.
