Verdun, lovely and kind and sensible words from Lily & R Beak  Guilt will always happen I know still carry it 11 yrs down the line but not as bad as the guilt if Mum went back home and something happened to her.  Your decision and we are here for you.

Dear Verdun that it what happens, so much confussion and you think a place of care is needed and then, a spark and some lucid thoughts. That's the way it happens and however much we wish otherwise it will only sadly be more confussion and less real Mum. Big hug to you and Mum. x Please do what your brain rather than your heart tells you.

Lizzie not sure when you go but have a lovely time in Italy...careful not too much pasta  remember the waistline   second thoughts eat loads and then maybe I won't have to eat any  Might have to have some tomorrow as undergardener has worked hard today  and . Also helped me paint the shed and now I have low lites in my hair and freckles on my legs..he is a messy painter that's why no help wanted painting potting bench & staging as it's green

Matt, I would say no. If they pollinate there won't be time for fruit to grow. Please don't throw them until someone else replies.

I know people keep chilli plants going indoors and harvest later into the year and save the plant for next year but I don't know about doing that with peppers.
