it has been another aching weak in the gardin but i am afraid a t hat i am not a fan of a ginand tonic, now a nic glass of beer will be my tipple so i wil hava a glass and hopefuly that will sothe some of the aches ans pains away.

now is the perfect time to plant out perenals. i have also plantd roses this weak and tulips.the soil is still warm her in devon although it has been a tad damp this weak. next weak i am planning to plan some tulips and i will also be putting in some primulas for the spring. i do think it is a god idea to kep some plant in the greenhose as they can get a bit wet down here. i am also going to put some walflowers out as well this weekend so i should have a god display next spring.

i have to agree with alinaw and dovfromabve you will ave all sorts of trubble if you prune it now.

i ave spent all day in the garden and i am completly cream crackered.it was only yesterday that i could do 12 hours work without noticing and without aching.has anyone got a solution for this.and where do all these weeds come from.

what ever you do do not start a fight with nice neighbors it is not worth the hassle to fall out with people you see evryday and it is worth the effort to solve the problm from your side of the fence at all times.even here where i ave had a nice garden for many years and i still ave to weed the garden evry week but that is part of gardenin.

jo4eyes you have caused me quite a pickle avantage card and points are things i do not know about . i tried to get the lady wife to read your comments but she is having nothing to do with new fangled computrs. so i will try one of the shops you mentionsed and see if they can help me.but thank you for sharing your advice and it as been interesting readin.

jo4eyes than you for your sugestions. i may try and talk to the doc when i next pop in but she always says at your age what do you expect. idid not know that it worked afte 2 weeks i can afford to try it for that time.

it is much more likely to be pest than hale i think you neeed to put out some beer traps to see if yo can catch the litle blighters.i like to go out an night and try and catch them in thee act but i am sure that some of thm wait for me to go back indoors.have you tried to spraying thme with anythin.

chris2 i have tried cod liver oil but it has a nasty side effect and i swear as i run back to the house and try and get me booots of. i have looked at glocosamine but it is not a cheap sulution.

isuffer with my joints too, i might try tat vinegar drink as i do not like taking too many pills.was there anythin else.maud that sounds nasty.
