Identification?

Thanks so much everyone. Sorry - I promise no upside down pics if avoidable in future. Kerria certainly looks likely. I have no access to a better  pic as this was sent to me.

Sorry but this wasn't put on upside down purposely. Unfortunately it happened and it was a genuine accident. Thanks for your help so far.

Can anyone give me a definitive ID for these plants?

Hi folks,

we have just put raised beds into place and now need to add some organic matter to the soil before we plant our veg. What would be the best organic matter options?

I am not sure. I am trying to do this for a bedridden lady so I will ask her but I think she cant remember. Best probably to do as you suggest if she cant recall.

Complete novice thwarted by the weeds!

Horsetail is very tricky and you may find it very hard to remove. Unfortunately I agree with Busy-Lizzie on that if you want to try and eradicate altogether - though I am not usually a round-up fan.

Have you got a weed wand to perhaps work on the weeds (if smallish) in paths and paving. It also saves your back!

Sorry my pic uploaded but not my text. Someone has asked me to overhaul this strawberry planter and its been standing doing its own thing a long time. As you can see there is growth there but everything is a bit of a mess. What needs doing? Do I need to empty the whole planter and start again? its a planter in the same shape as a water butt so it is very deep. any suggestions welcomed.

If it needs restarted how do I do it! Yikes, help!
