Bare Root Rose - No Growth?

 Try snipping a bit of the branch. If it's still green and moist, it might still come up. If it's dry and brittle it's dead and can be discarded.

Looks lovely!

My honeysuckle was groving very robustly earlier this year and for some reason I fed it with rose fertiliser thinking the extra potash will flower it more. Big mistake! Now some of the leaves has turned black!

I have 2 acers in pots and they do get wind burn very easily. I have to constantly move them to a shelteted position whenever there is a prolong windy spell like what we're having the past few days.

I grow sambucus nigra in an exposed site and they do withstand the elements much better. Look quite similar to the delicate acers.

The very best variegated herbaceous n perennial plants....and do you like em?

My local gc is selling variegated lavenders. It looks sickly to me.

On the other hand, I have a variegated pittosporum 'tandara gold' which I absolutely adore.

If you take out the whole root ball, you can remove them anytime the soil is not frozen
