Irrigation in the greenhouse

Posted: 14/04/2013 at 22:14

I am looking into collecting water from my greenhouse roof, into a waterbutt raised on bricks. I intend to run a pressure compensating dripper system from a water butt. An open/closevalved  battery operated timer will allow flow to my grow bags. Free and healthy water and automated for when  i am late home from work or when i go away for a weekend.

I have had loads of advise from www.blueskieswatersystems.co.uk and their  eqwuipment seems to be well priced and easy to install. I already have a patio pot watering system.

I bought a container watering kit from www.blueskieswatersystems.co.uk its currently on sale. the kit had all i needed to water my patio pots. I found it easy to install and adaptable, as i change my pot layout every year. They have all the extra bits and i found them cheaper than Hozeloc.

Clarify the drought pls!

You can use dripline, a pressure regulator and a timer. I bought all three from www.blueskieswatersystems.com. They've also got up to date info on what you can and can't use and quite an informative website overall. Hope that helps!
