Wow!  Did you take that photo yourself?

I don't like samphire.  It tastes too salty.

I enjoyed watching the dressage on the iPlayer yesterday.  The iPlayer coverage is really good.  You can just choose which sport you want to watch.

My gardeners delight look suspiciously blighty.  I have them a good squirt of bordeux mixture but am not feeling very confident.

It was sunny here until the moment I left the office, then it clouded over.

Geoff has promised me a hot and sunny weekend next week so at leasty I have something to look forward to.

When does the Olympics come to an end?  The TV in my house is constantly tuned into pictures of people swimming, running or jumping.

I would like Sydney 'arbour but that's another story-but KG- nice arbour but who is the fella?

My lovely nephew!  He is a carpenter so very handy to have about the place.

I've been outside in the sunshine all day long.  Bliss.  Back to work tomorrow.

I'm considering a combination of roses and clematis.  Currently I've just stuck in a couple of rozannes which I bought at Hampton Court.

Hi all

I've not got around to popping in here much lately.  Too much working, gardening and having fun.

I accidentally saw a bit of running this evening because others were watching TV in the kitchen whilst I was making jam.  Love the yellow shoes.  When I went shopping in town this morning there was a big screen set up in the pedestrian area showing the Olympics.  A lot of men were sitting around watching it - presumably their other halves were shopping.

I have a lovely new arbour in my front garden just crying out for some roses to climb over it.  Always good to find an excuse to buy more roses.  My nephew built it for me. Any ideas on favourite roses?

I have hardly any apples this year.  One tree has three apples on it and I check every day to see if they are still there!
