That is a very clever way of pruning just cut the fruiting branch out, no need to break your back picking fruit, why didn't I think of that, got any smart ways to pick and prune gooseberry bushes lads. And how do I prune my summer fruiting raspberry bushes, and please don't start with leaders and lateral and all that malarkey haven't a clue what that means, please help me in plain English.????????

Hi, crazy paving is coming back into fashion so keep it, why don't you get a hand fork and remove some of the concrete between slabs and plant rock plants and all types of lavender they will love it the poorer the condition the better also heathers and Daisy's. Get a half barrel line it will pond liner use rope to cover stapled edges of liner. Fill with water and pond plants, pond Lilly it will clear in a month and on your paving will be another feature, add a seat and you have a tranquil area to chill.

does anyone have any idea how to make a fruit tree, not arch but a walk way, so you walk a path with fan or espalier fruit trees? Do I  make a growing frame or use the frame that comes with the espaliers. I have purchased 2plum espalier  sand two eating apple espalier. Do I leave a gap between them? Any help greatly recieved.

have you tried the x hose? I got mine after seeing an add on the telly, you can buy them at home base but do get the correct length, the are like elastic fabric, they don't kink and are super light weight, I'm in love with mine.
