How late is this 'spring'?

It is late but things have a way of evening themselves out-we have had lack of spring as such before-last two summers were a disaster-on the law of averages this one will be great.

First instant comment-they look too wet-let them really dry out-empty those saucers-let them beg for water in a way-do not water again until they show signs of needing it-that could be easily be in 2 weeks

What are you talking about? -your question is there

And no there isnt some magic fertilizer despite the claims-they all do a similar job-you have to wait-not sure exactly what you are expecting-if you buy correct compost and feed correctly a plant will grow-but only to its limitations.

You just remove the side shoots on those varieties-pinch out the top when 4/6 trusses are set-some time away yet
