HYACINTH BULBS

Hi george

in the nicest possible way -when you post -could you turn the caps lock off -on forums that looks as though you are shouting and is considered bad forum etiquette

If they had stalks -they had bulbs-it is just that the stalk has come detached-a normal process of dying back.

Dig down you will find bulb-if you want to dig it out

At the risk of being shouted down-again- they commission so many programmes a year-that takes into account non-shows for sporting and such like events

But again it was never scheduled this week- so was not cancelled

Presenters do not get paid per show.

Has anybody actually ever complained to the BBC-or is this just one of those grumblymoanrants?

It was shown during the Olympics I think you will find

Often it is not shown during WImbledon fortnight or when the snooker is on-also last year when the proms were on

Been the same for years and years and years........

On a pedantic note you can't cancel something that was never scheduled -can you?

Do you want to pay more licence fee to fund a BBC sports channel-say double what you pay now??

It is the only way that could happen
