Dahlia problem

Slug or snail probably-look under the rim of the pot or underneath -scatter a few pellets

Interloper?

Those are definitely not peppers-that is so.

Runner beans

The flowers need bees to pollinate them-that is unlikely in a greenhouse-they are best grown outside-no amount of watering with anything will help.

There's a "Report to Moderator" button at the bottom of this page. I've tried doing that with several kitchen ads. If we all did it, the mods would soon sort it out.

Hiya green magpie.  Never thought of doing that......thanks

Odd this-when I suggested doing that last week was shouted down

-"we" were taking care if it-now it is a good idea

I still fail to see why yet again the people than run this site fail to monitor it-how complicated can it be to log on for 5 minutes -go down new discusions and zap these threads??

Hello fellow garden enthusiasts. This is a quick one, my dephiniums last year bloomed brilliantly. However this year they seem to be getting eaten from the start of the growing season. I have believed it was ants, and so tried a google answer! Of putting cayene pepper around the bottom and rice. This seems to of not worked as now the flowers arent getting to full bloom before being eaten. Also whatever it is is eating through the stem also, any idea's?

Ants do not eat plants-it is slugs or snails-always is

All veg friendly-but you not need a lot-just a few scattered about

It is slugs and or snails definitely-you dont always see trails-use pellets or whatever to stop.

MORNING FORKERS

Fair enough-I take the point life it is too short-it is just when you come on here at a certain time -all you see is threads saying spam reported-lets leave it at that

Off to work

Is everyone happy that when someone reports Spam they put one post on to show it's been reported so that everyone else doesn't have to report it too?  We have discussed this haven't we?

Lazy Gardener seems to be a bit agitated about it

Sorry-but this is out of order-please don't talk about me as if I cannot read

"We" do not run this forum-the are too many assumptions about authority being made on here-it is not a social club run by a commitee who can make decisions

My point is just by saying it is reported it is moving up the page-just report it.
