Thanks for all the comments I think I will get the glass removed and keep the frame for the future. I'm sure I can make it look pretty with some pots etc.

Thanks bob.t.g! Yes its aluminium and most of the panes are cracked and some large dangerous shards inside, it also has no door. The guttering from the garage its beside has fallen through it. Such a shame, Id love to have one. I can't afford to get it reglazed now, I thought about maybe putting some kind of screening around it for the childens safety but it would be a good few years til I could get it fixed so maybe offering it to someone who could give it a good home would be better. If I were to keep the frame what kind of tradesman could I ask to remove the glass?

Thanks!

Hi, does anyone know the best/safest way to get rid of an old, unsalvagable greenhouse? I wont be attempting it myself but no idea who to call. We moved in october but just never got round to dealing with it. I thought better still rather than it all ending up in the landfill if I could turn it into something pretty. There are broken panes and its knee-deep in leaves and too dangerous for my boys to be left unnattended while I'm pottering around the garden so atleast the glass needs to br taken out. Is it possible to keep the frame or does it have to be undone to remove the panes? Ooh and I'm new on here but have been gardening since last year Many thanks!
