Is it too late?

Posted: 08/04/2013 at 15:26

hi, i had the same problem with my garden it wasnt a pig farm but underneath i found all kinds of rubbish and i pressume rubble from when the house was built,i had to dig it all up (luckly its a small garden) and mix in alot of compost, it seems to have helped the grass grow nicely, my plants shrubs are doing okay too,

if its very wet, maybe adding  drains could help,

i bought a red star cordyline, which is in a pot at my front door so it gets full sun!

i noticed its turned completely green, the tips of the leave have damaged by the wind and temperature,  can the weather change the colour too?

Is it warm enough ?

depends on what your growing really, carrots, lettuce, spinach, parsnips will grow if the ground has warmed up to about 12 degrees. veg like onions, peas, potatoes can be put down from march but you need to still protect them incase of frost hoped this helped
