I grow them bjay - they have  striking flowers . Last year mine didn't do very well so I am hoping this year will be better.I grow mine in a tub with an obelisk or canes to form a wigwam. They are easy to mange and don't seed all over the place - I think you will like them

They are Chrysanths - they could be planted in the garden when the frosts have finished but they have probably been treated with a growth suppressant so when they flower in the garden they will be much taller and the flowering time will also be different - they do look lovely

A south facing window probably wouldn't be so good Chris but other windowsills should be fine

Well -I had a lovely day in the garden today well -in the greenhouse -didn't even have my fleece on!
The fire hasn't gone on tonight either so must be warmer
Can't wait to do the same again tomorrow

Figrat - touch wood -I have been clear for 21/2 years now but I did have to have really major surgery and learn how to live my new life - doesn't stop me gardening I didn't mean for the thread to get serious -sorry .
