Fork Handles

When we redid our garden about 9 years ago we didn't have a lot of money to spend on edging so we decided to use brick paviors - they have lasted really well

Bjay - pot your plugs into 3" pots and if you want them to be bushy pinch out the growing tip when there are 3 pairs of leaves - I have some Lady Boothby climbing fuchsias that are hardy - they have been in the border for about 4 years now.
Love the cake

Non Support of Poor Companies

Any company can make a mistake - it is what they do to rectify it that counts in my opinion.
I had ordered 2 lots of Lilies fron Van Meuwen and a collection of Lilies fron Thompson and Morgan. They are the same company by he way.
3packages arrived on the same day -each with a substitution voucher for ??5.00 and 20 ChinaGirl Lily bulbs instead of the ones I had ordered. I really didn't want 60 Lilies of the same variety so phoned Thompson and Morgan and said how disappointed I was. The outcome was that I was sent a different collection of Lily bulbs,I could keep the China Girl lilies and the 3 ??5.00 vouchers and they also gave me a complete refund. I would say this is good customer service when something has gone wrong.
I buy lots of plants through mail order and on the rare occasion when I have needed to complain I have always been happy with the way my complaints have been dealt with.

over wintering osteospurmum.

At the end of last summer I took cuttings from my Osreos as usual and put the parent plants in the cold greenhouse and just about forgot them . When I was sorting the greenhouse out a couple of weeks the pots of Osteospermums looked pretty grim but I noticed lots of new shoots on the bottoms of the stems so I cut the plants back and tidied them up then gave them a feed.Hopefully they will grow into good plants

Grafted cucumber plant

Hello Eddie It sounds to me like your cucumber plant is too cold. Maybe put it on the windowsill during the day and move it away from the window during the night.Cucumbers can sometimes be fussy plants I have ordered a couple of grafted cucumbers this year -never tried them before so it will be interesting to see how I get on with them. I do hope your plant recovers

Sue - it is the pollen that is the problem for cats but you can get beautiful Lilies now that are pollen free
