Grafted cucumber plant

Posted: 02/04/2013 at 09:52
Hello Eddie It sounds to me like your cucumber plant is too cold. Maybe put it on the windowsill during the day and move it away from the window during the night.Cucumbers can sometimes be fussy plants I have ordered a couple of grafted cucumbers this year -never tried them before so it will be interesting to see how I get on with them. I do hope your plant recovers

Sue - it is the pollen that is the problem for cats but you can get beautiful Lilies now that are pollen free

Good afternoon everyone
I hope anyone with the lurgy gets better quickly
I do hope your diamond shows up Liz
Love Jess's hat
Love the doggy jumpers too

I am feeling happy this afternoon -I have finished potting up all my cuttings, sorted out all the other plants in my greenhouses and pricked out 6 trays of Onions for Barry. Yesterday I potted up the 90 Petunias and 72 Laurentia plugs that arrived in the post. Tomorrow I intend to sow all the Tomatoes,Cosmos, mesembrywhatsits and Ageratum plus seeds of cabbages and Lettuces
Cottage pie, carrots and peas for dinner, apple crumble and custard for pudding
