evergreen and fuchsia cutting

Posted: 11/11/2012 at 17:16

They say that Lady Boothby is a climbing Fuchsia - if you would like it to grow very tall you could just tie it to a cane . If it was mine I would tie it to a cane and just pinch the top out- the side shoots should then be stronger and you will have more foliage to take cuttings from  Try not to overwater it - just keep it ticking over

Fuchsia -  trailing Puts Folly is brilliant for colour all summer long  I took the cuttings for these baskets at the end of February and once they started flowering they didn't stop  I hope you like Fuchsias

Lady Boothby is a hardy Fuchsia - I have had a couple in the garden for 3 years now and they just pop back  Your plant will be better off inside this year - you say there was one long shoot - can I suggest you pinch the top out - if you haven't already done so that is   Cuttings will root really easily from the end of February onwards

I don't like I'm a celebrity, but each to his or her own.I prefer to see a real jungle with David Attenborough and animals, not creepy crawlies. that you have to eat, yuk

Geoff, you would have plenty of geese if you moved to France, they eat every bit of it, fois grais, gizzards, etc. quite like the jungle, and they use the feathers to make duvets etc..

Our bonfire is no more, don't think we upset the neighbours, at least no one came knocking on the door, they are all probably muttering indoors.

Who will be out tonight on SCD? my bet is on either Fern or Michael, but I quite like everyone that are left in this year. Darcey is very posh isn't she, yarh

If you can't wait for tonight to find out I know where you can find out now - or I will tell you
