Good Morning Geoff and Glyn Good morning everyone

Another dank and dismal day I think

Yesterday I cleared out my dressing table  drawers- today my Son is taking me to a Garden Centre

Love the cakes - I will probably have our Grandchildren for a day next week - we could make some spooky cakes

Have a lovely day !

what decade is your garden?

Posted: 22/10/2012 at 06:51

We have had our garden for about 25 years and were lucky that it was a blank canvas so that we could do what we wanted. It has changed many times over the years and just evolved to what it is today. We still change bits that we aren't happy with but really do love our garden - I know it isn't  to everyones taste  I used to grow bedding like  Muvs neighbours but for a few years now I have grown Bee friendly bedding plants and right through the year there are plants flowering in the for the Bees to enjoy so I hope we are doing our bit for Bee conservation

Good Morning Everyone

I do hope everyone is well this morning

I won't miss the actrees either but I do like Anton

I can't believe Rylan is still in

Looks a bit murky outside again - not sure yet if I will be gardening - I must admit to being a bit of a fairweather gardener

It is our eldest Grandsons 11th birthday at the end of the week and he would like a new football and boot bag so going shopping for them today - will also get the wool to start knitting the camels

My American penfriend sent me some lovely flowery photos- I would love to show them to you but can't figure out how to upload them to Photobucket from an email -- any ideas ,please

Have a lovely day

I THINK I have a Peace Lily - how on Earth do I make it happy?

Posted: 22/10/2012 at 06:16

Hello Martin - your plant is a Peace Lily - the foliage looks lovely and healthy The only thing I am worried about is the size of the pot you have put it in - you say it was in a small pot before. I would have just gone up one size at a time.Be careful with the watering over winter but it will enjoy being misted over occasionally- it is a good plant to have in an office as it is supposed to absorb nasties from the air
