Hi again! Lilylouise

I noticed on the video that you had Blueberries growing in a pot, can you tell me which plant you used and what time of the year can I buy one to plant up.

Regards Chris

Chris - I think my plants are Bluecrop - I do have a couple of other varieties in a small border as well - but the ones in pots do best. They are about 5 years old now

Spring is probably a good time to plant them  they like acid conditions and plenty of water

This is a very shaky video of our garden with a very dodgy commentary

Hello Everyone  We had a wonderful Open Day - the weather was perfect and our vistors were very kind about our garden  We had around 180 visitors and made £700.00

It was so great to meet Lottie - I am so pleased she came - she is lovely  She very kindly brought me some of her eggs - Barry had a couple for his tea tonight and says they are yummy - I will have a couple tomorrow  I have been looking after our 4 Grandchildren today so haven't fully recovered from the weekend - a slobby day is in order for tomorrow

I am looking forward to meeting Lottie  I haven't a clue what she looks like so hope she introduces herself

We have been very busy trying to make the garden look reasonable but I must say it has been a horrid gardening year  Most of my pots of Lilies succumbed to that Lily leaf disease and it did affect the flowers as well ,my Cues have the measles(powdery mildew) which has been sprayed with milk, some peppers and chillies still look awful and plants that should be in flower by now aren't  This week

I have made 2 Lemon Drizzle cakes,2 Choccie cakes,2 Apple cakes and 2 Coffee and Walnut cakes - they are in the freezer and tomorrow I will be making 2 Victoria sponges,36 Cup cakes and 4 dozen scones  My DIL's Mum is making a Choccie cake and a Coffee and Walnut cake for me,too  - just hope our visitors want tea and cake  All the proceeds from the Teas will be going to a small charity called Breakaway-visits - my urostomy nurse told me about them
