Lottie - My Son was going to put a few more posters around for me today - in Bisley and West End hopefully

Sainsburys don't have a noticeboard anymore  but they very kindly put one up in Homebase for me

I heard that the weather is going to stay like this for another 3 weeks at least so I will be doing a lot of praying for a dry day !

I am looking forward to meeting you and Yvieh if she comes

Hello everyone  I am really happy - I went for my 6 month check with my surgeons on tuesday - had my CT scan, blood tests etc. at the end of May-  and they say I am really well  Shame about the dodgy knees  Now I can concentrate on the open day - my Son took me around the local villages today to put up some posters

small tree suggestions please

I would suggest an Amelanchier,  Maggie

Strange aubergine plant

Posted: 04/07/2012 at 19:41

Janet - I don't think the leaf in pic no.3 is an Aubergine leaf - sorry  The leaves in pic no.2 are different to each other so I reckon you have a weed and an Aubergine very close together

Plant identification

I agree

Can anyone identify this and tell me where I can buy it?

It is Bouganvillea Joolsg - they are mainly sold as houseplants/conservatory plants here - they are beautiful

Any one know what this is?

I have found this

http://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/Profile.aspx?pid=740

It looks like the best thing to do is remove the growths and spray with a systemic insecticide to keep the plants clear of insects that may spread the problem.Sorry I can't be of more help Lyn

Our plant is a few years old but garden centres usually sell them when they are about 5' tall
