Poorly Aucuba

I hope it recovers Doris  Last year I thought I had lost my Bottlebrush tree- it was about 10' tall and absolutely smothered in gorgeous flowers in summer but the 2 severe winters we had really hit it hard.We had to prune it right back to stumps but I am very pleased to say that it is growing well again and there should be about a dozen flowers this year  I do hate losing plants, too

I would cut it back but not water it yet - let it dry out a bit first

Fuchsia cuttings

They will root easily if put into some multipurpose compost with a bag over them and kept somewhere bright but not direct sun. I root most of my Fuchsia cuttings by putting them on a north facing windowsill

Growing Sweetcorn

Sweetcorn can easily grow to 6' - I don't want to spoil your experiment but I think they would be far happier outside - they are going to need lots of water if you plant 3 to 40cm pot - if we have a good summer it will probably be too hot for them in a greenhouse. Sorry
