| About me: | I'm a keen gardener and writer living in Essex. I have had non-fiction articles and fiction published, and have just put a crime novel on Kindle. The four loves of my life; family, writng, photography and gardening take up all my time. I used to have an allotment when I lived in Oxfordshire and really miss it, especially as my veg patch is overshadowed in my new garden, and not much good really. In fact, I'm going to change it into a tropical and fern garden next year. I got rid of my lawn a couple of years back and replaced it with a scree garden with stepping stones.
I live about half way between Beth Chatto's and Hyde Hall so i'm spoiled for gardens to visit. I live near Wickham Place Farm (of wisteria and cyclamen fame) and sometimes help out with teas there. |
