climbing rose problem

I have 3 climbing roses - all Madame Alfred Carrierre.  For some reason they are all very bad at producing flowers.  I have various other roses in the garden, all of which flower profusely so I really dont know where I am going wrong.  Has anyone got any suggestions please?  Thanks.

Harvesting onions

Posted: 28/05/2014 at 12:51

Can anyone please tell me the importance of waiting for onions to flop over at the neck before harvesting?  I really need the area they are growing in.  Will it actually do any harm to pull them up now as they are quite large and look ready.  I should have said that these are winter onions.

Thank you

Help!! Can anyone I.D this plant?

Do they do any harm?

I really am against killing anything just because it is in the  way.

Dahlias

Was going to say the same.  If they are old flowers you need to deadhead these to keep the plant flowering.  Also dahlias do not need a lot of watering.  I think if overwatered the buds may rot.

Sorry didnt finish .......mine were in full sun and they were outside all year.  They die back in the winter but come back in spring.  They survived heavy snow and cold conditions.

I bought 2 of these a few years ago.  They make very attractive plants but take up a lot of room.  I ended up digging mine up to be honest.
