hi all

I have read so much about carrot fly, am I right to be put off giving carrots/parsnips a go? x

so would you recommend just plants to oxygenating the pond then daydaisy? and what about  a light in the pond,  would you say that was a good or bad idea? I do like the idea of my pond attracting frogs (the solar light reviews I have been reading up on have a lot better reviews than the fountains)

barrel pond now ordered after doing a lot of looking around... now I need to know if any of you have had much success with solar fountains?

Thanks for the fab reply Dinah and the warning about cats, I have got 3 cats!!! I have been back to Morrisons todays hoping to pick up another couple of plants but unfortunately no joy x

how can I tell if it a male or female plant and even if it doesn't fruit would you say it was an attractive plant?

I also picked up 8 of the pots they use to store the cut flowers in for 99p.... after a few drill holes they will be ideal loads of my veggies

I don't think I will have room in my greenhouse, not even had it a year and its already full

Hi, I love Morrison's plant section... today I couldn't resit picking up a kiwi plant, it cost me £2 and looks really healthy . I have never grown or thought about growing a kiwi  plant before and wondered how much success/problems you have had with them?... from the bit of reading up I have done they are very vigorous growers

Hi, anyone made a barrel pond? I have been looking into having a pond but don't want anything that is too much high maintenance and I think this might be the way to go so I would appreciate any hints, tips and pics
