store your left over seeds in a cool dark dry place and with luck they will be ok for a few years, i have used  five /six year old seed

booths have pictues of the farmers and details of were they farm in store, im not sure but i think booths are family owned


is anybody else having problems posting at the moment i am having trouble with both devices

£1.39 for four pints at Booths SM, it is a local SM based in Preston but expanding all over the North they support local business and farming 

my nearest are in Kendal and another in Windermere but it isn't always easy for me to use them

I buy meadow park milk from Morrisons it says on the label produced in the uk from British milk, it also has a label red tractor assured food standards 2litre 88p and yes I would be happy to pay more

I can't remember were I read it but stones or bricks will tear you fleece but empty milk containers filled with water or sand will hold it down without damage, I havnt tried it yet but am collecting bottles ready to cover newly planted stuff later

We have had odd ones on the feeders in the past but today OH said there were about a dozen or so he took the pictures through the window so not perfect but nice

Well it snowed this morning but that was ok because we have been to a friends wedding anniversary lunch I don't suppose eating and drinking can be described as gardening although I did chat to a friend about growing butternut squash dos that count, ok perhaps not
