Hi david i didnt count or keep a record i just grow for the pleasure of growing and eating my own stuff, myOH is the one who wanted them for Christmas i think new potatos are for summer although i do like cold ones fried with bacon and eggs

re focus KEF i think this works for all digital cameras

point the camera press the shutter button slightly and hold it, the camera should focus then press right down to take picture (apologies if you already knew this but it might help somebody else)

not sure how many varieties Beetham have but its a lot and you can buy in ones if you want

i grow all mine in plastic containers. the first time i used the plastic flower buckets you can buy from supermarkets for about a £1 for ten one plant each pot, 2013 i used these plastic containers that had contained food supplements for sheep our neighbour was glad to be rid of them, one plant each pot but this year i will plant two in each pot

 oh made holes for drainage, layer of rotted manure,layer of compost,one or two pots cover with compost and then earth up as you would in the ground.

i didnt use new bought compost, some was saved from tubs and baskets last year some home made. i also planted some in August because oh wanted some with Christmas dinner and we ate the last ones yesterday
