lily did you grow them in the ground or in the greenhouse or poly tunnel and howmuch water.

wonderful crop id be happy with those

thanks i have left some stem verd they are upside down in those pots for ponds with the holes in so they should get plenty of air round them to dry. i left them outside all day today as it was sunny and breezy they are in the greenhouse now

thanks Greenfingeredsmoggy i did grow them this year from slips not very well im afraid i was wondering how Lilylouise and madeleine had managed this year,

i dont know if mine were short of water the tops looked ok but not a lot going on underneath

 washed, labled and ready to go in the greenhouse to dry.

is it best to leave the clumps intact for the winter and seperate some of the tubers when they start to shoot in the spring

i have just taken my dahlias out of there big pots and when i tipped the compost out there were a couple of slugs in the bottom and a large amount of eggs

i found two pots this afternoon both covered with moss emptied one out and it was full of tiny bulbs all sprouting, back in pot new compost into greenhouse no idea what they are
