i so enjoy looking at your pictures i took some myself this morning, but it has taken  ages to be able to  upload them.

cotoneaster horizontalis, you must train it and keep it under control but bees love the flowers and birds love the berries its very hardy, doesn't mind being cut back hard and you can grow other climbers through it

years ago an old gentleman gave me a pot of alstroemerias because i had admired them in his garden, i split the little tuber things into two lots and planted them in the garden and although they haven't spread i cant get rid of them, every year i dig them up but every year they come back again, they flop all over the place and are a perfect hiding place for snails will pulling them out of the ground as they appear  weaken them

untill they give up

i have just watched beechgrove garden on iplayer and some of the tomato problems are due to lack of light this year, i dont know if this helps
