Thanks Dovefromabove, I'll read the link, but keep them inside My precious you know, the beetroots and carrots that i had left outside in the hail survived  But you were right, the tomatoes and aubergines didnt make it, so i sowed them inside this time and have a lot of little plants on the window sill

Hi everyone, I have chilli seedlings which I germinated indoors, but now that it is a bit warmer, I was wondering if I should move them outside? I live in Essex and the temperature is around 12C. Can anyone help me out? Any feedback will be appreciated

Yes, finally
I've got chillies and tomatoes, even the carrots...the beetroot seedlings survived the frost like Dovefromabove's just the aubergines, they still haven't germinated, even on the window sill

Thank you Eva!
I'm so glad to have so many people to help me get started, before this I had no idea what a propagator even was
Now that I'm armed with information, thanks to everyone on this forum, I'm confident that I won't kill my seedlings this time around....I even have a few on my window sill which have germinated in the last couple if days!yay!

Thanks Stacey, do I just pop them in the freezer bags and leave them on the sill? Or do I need to add anything?
Busy Bee, I put then on my east facing sill this morning, thanks for the vote of confidence
Lyn, I put mine in pots too, but newbie that I am, I'll have a go at the freezer bag method as well and what happens

Ok, so I'll have to secure them well then....Thanks for all the input, there's so much to learn!
Btw, I have sown more seeds indoors today, in little pots and placed then on the window sill....that's where they'll stay till it's warm and they have a few leaves....I hope I won't make anymore mistakes this time, I really want to grow something!
