I agree Paul N, it is the same every year, and as for Love your Garden, yes, a remake of Ground Force. The lady was married and I thought the same about the hubby. Maybe tho with all the chemo etc he has had a lot extra to do in the house and look after the boy.

I think you are Shrinking Violet. Could you not send it out to sea instead ! The light drizzle turned to heavy drizzle, washing now on the airer. Went out on a slug hunt just before dark, managed to slice a few slimy critters.
It would be so lovely to be able to sit out in the evening Marygold. Surely thats not asking too much.

Lovely day here today in bristol. Very hot lunchtime when me and a friend sat out at our favourite GC having lunch. Bought 2 Icelandic poppies for ??2-50 in the poorly plant section. Gave them a good soak and already look a lot better.
Went to Bodnant a few weeks ago (that really hot week ) when on holiday. Really lovely. Have you been before jo4eyes ?

Had quite a good day yesterday until evening then it chucked it down all night. Still breezy today but sunshine all day. Shame I was unable to potter, but did get the washing dry. Forecast good for tomorrow so looking forward to some time spent doing what I love most. Oh dear, hubby just informed me England lost on penaltys, best go put the kettle on !

Have had a couple of busy days so have been unable to get out on the garden. Son bought me a lovely deep red lily for my birthday yesterday so hoping to plant it out tomorrow.
Lovely pics everyone.
