Sorry Geoff - forgot about the potato question. I will have to have a look and let you know later!

Morning all Forkers! There's now so many of us I'm struggling to remember everyone!

Geoff, Kate, Flo, Jo, Sasha, Chris, Glyn, Gary, Dean, Jean, Becks, Caz, Bjay, Lizzie, Pam LL, PPam, Inka, Nola, Dove, Flowerchild, Rain, Frank, Bunny, Ma, Sue. Anyone I've forgotten, please shout now! Memory not what it used to be!

Dean, hope you're feeling much better!

No snow forecast for here, I think it may rain later though, which will wash the remaining snow away. There's just a big patch outside my house!

Watched Silent Witness last night - OH kept asking questions - then I realised he thought we were watching a recording but we were watching it live, so had to tell him I knew as much as he did!!

Maybe its Geoff's jokes that have had that effect on Inka!

Don't mind wearing the sombrero but I don't think the dodgy moustache would suit me.

Jean, I like a bargain rummage as well!

FC, mine needs doing if you've got a spare half hour!

As for the kitchen, well lets just say its a work in progress. I do it at the weekends and in the week its mostly left to fend for itself!

Darren poor you - sounds painful. Yes, definitely wait until the thaw before attempting to go out on crutches - the two do not mix!

Geoff, thanks - and remember to smile for the photos!

Morning all Forkers, especially the newcomers!

Jean you forgot the hail. Then you'll have the full compliment.

Footwarmer is a godsend in my office - don't care how silly it looks. I actually got mine off freecycle!

Geoff, I'm pretty sure you can still get Sky telly in Spain - although maybe not legally!! Will bring my fiesta round soon, there's a couple of things that need fixing.

Well done Inka - its probably all that wood chopping you do for exercise that's helped with the weight loss!

Had another dusting of snow overnight. It only settled on the cars though.

Yay, heating is now back on! But my feet are still not warm so I've turned the foot warmer on!

My first Saturday job was in a greengrocers - we weighed everything out into brown paper bags and charged by the lb. We also added the customer's bill up on a notepad and worked out the change ourselves. The shop door was always open and it was freezing in winter.

Jo it sounds like you will need lunch and then a little 'afternoon tea' to tide you over until your meal this evening!

So far the gas/boiler engineer hasn't shown up. I'm ok with my thick cardi on but my feet are starting to freeze. Time to get out my foot-warmer! It may look silly but it does the job!

I don't do online shopping as I buy reduced stuff a lot of the time - and we have 3 supermarkets to choose from. Got lots of cheap cakes in Morrisons on the way home last night

Morning all, am at my desk. Its still cold here but I have my extra-thick Pachamama cardi on this morning so I should be ok. Had quite a bit of snow last night but it seems to have melted from the roads.

Glyn, have a fabulous time in Hong Kong. I went there years ago, when it was still British!

Any bad smells round my house are usually blamed on Alfie - and he's usually the culprit.
