I am not clicking on that link - do not want Paper Woses in my head all day! Will have to think of another song very quickly.

We have recently had a new fence put up at the entrance to the allotments, with rows of barbed wire at the top. A shame that its necessary.

Lovely roses Becks - how long would they last?

Pam, thats awful - which site are you on? Maybe it wasn't other plot-holders but someone who got in somehow? I'm surprised our site doesn't attract more trouble being where it is.

Geoff, glad the water has gone down, I wasn't anticipating swimming this weekend! And yes of course we all want to know whats going on when the old bill turn up!

We got a bit of thunder and lightning last night - just as I was having a discussion with all 3 sons who were all standing outside their bedroom doors there was a huge flash and we all looked at each other startled - bit of a comedy moment.

Jean, sounds like you might have some guests stopping over for C**. Very good that the house is sold and she can move on.

Very very dark here - ok, I know its supposed to be getting dark at this time, but not this dark, surely! Is the thunder and lightning on its way?

Dinner tonight in case anyone's interested - chicken pie. Not sure what with though.

Worse than the nylon were the wool vests - a nightmare of itchiness - could never wear one! And they were a sort of dirty cream colour - yuck.

Kate, glad you survived the journey unscathed! Good luck with the pffiffivierierererer, OH says he had one once and it was delicious. I think I'd cheat and buy the pastry frozen - rough puff is a faff to make! Don't forget to send some banoffee pie to the cyberlockers!

Caroline - did it work? Have heard of ironing your hair but not straightening your clothes!

I would never iron boxer shorts! Or shirts for that matter. Men can do their own!

Perhaps its seen as a 'newest conversation' as people have posted to it most recently? Certainly not a new fred!

Geoff - have replied - secret squirrel!

I know who won the baking as well - but was it the right bloke? My friend thinks not!

I'll have those apples!

See, by the time I'd posted about 10 other posts appeared!

Yes, can we talk about the baking??

Morning all. Yes it seems it tipped down in the night here, judging by the humungous puddles on the way to work this morning! I didn't hear it though.

I lost - thought Asda would be leaving it to the last minute. Oh well.

Lovely pumpkin Jean (and the bloke isn't half bad too - just what was needed to brighten the morning!)

Becks, hope the water is sorted - if not, you can boil and drink cold water from the bathroom tap if this comes from a cold water storage tank - I regularly do, hasn't done me any harm......

Year 2 is 6/7 year olds - what used to be the last year of infants school when I was young.

I refresh the page to see the last posts - and usually by the time I've posted a couple more have been added!
