I don't think that those outfits are suitable for a lady of my age! Maybe I will just wear a onesie!

Chris, I need advice on storing pelargoniums - I have some in pots that I'd like to keep going if possible.

If we are doing disguises can I have some suggestions for me too please?

Becks, glad you had a rant at Asda - seems like shoddy service.

Morning all, Gary maybe your water bills went to pay for that lovely shiny new building they were working in. I have building envy now - I work in what is little more than a converted warehouse.

Lovely and sunny here at the moment so I'm hoping to do some digging at the plot - have decided to dig it over and then put down lots of manure to break down over the winter. Trouble is I will have to carry the manure myself....

I'm still waiting for my share of the new bread and cherry jam to arrive - hope its here soon as I didn't have breakfast.

Chris, I like to have something to look forward to - am looking forward to a trip to Southampton!!

Jean, lovely African violets - my mum always has some growing.

Log burners are lovely and so cosy - we had one but had to remove it when we put the new fireplace in as apparently the composite stone wouldn't stand the heat!

Geoff I will be visiting Soton soon - you may discover all the apples disappear overnight!

No point offering free stuff outside my house - its a cul-de-sac, only 3 neighbours actually go past!

I used to love Ikea when we lived in Belgium, you could go there and wander round and there were never any crowds. Here its like a madhouse.

My link for the day, One, two, three, ahhh......

Flo, competition is still open - you can always add some original answers to be in with a chance of a prize!

Pam, sorry can't remember what make of iron I have! Am sure Jo knows what hers is though!!!

Hello bjay, please join in! The more the merrier!

Geoff - well done but there's no need to get carried away!

Jean - full marks, toffee apple on its way cyberetically.

Kate - copying not allowed, am glad you decided against it. However you have failed to enter so I'm afraid no toffee apple for you.

Pam, good effort but maybe a little more revision needed? A consolation windmill for you.

Morning all, not paining here yet but I'm sure its about to be as the forecast is for heavy showers followed by light showers followed by more heavy showers. I may not get to dig at lunchtime at this rate.

Jean, I agree, I think the lavenders may have had it. What a shame!

Now a little Halloween challenge - to stop you lot going on about C****!! Pair up the characters with the films:

Norman Bates

Freddie Krueger

Michael Myers

Annie Wilkes

Hannibal Lecter

Friday 13th

Silence of the Lambs

Child's Play

Nightmare on Elm Street

The Omen

All correct entries received by the closing date will be awarded a toffee apple!

Becks maybe we can club together and get that castle. Or wait until Kate wins the lottery?

I have to admit I started my C*** shopping the other day - just a couple of stocking fillers but its a start!

Been digging up potatoes - last of my main crop that I hadn't got round to. Not as many or as big as last year but they seem to be ok. My pumpkin is looking lovely!

I will bring my tent!

But Gary don't forget the 12% purchase tax applied to property in Spain - Geoff might only be able to buy two £65,000 houses! That would be terrible - they might not have pools! And I'm guessing a greenhouse won't be needed.
