Lovely moth Becks! When I shop for my brother's twins I buy the same but different - i.e 2 vehicles but different colours or something. I gave them scooters when they came to stay recently that I got 2nd hand - one had tape around the handle and the other didn't, so they knew whose was whose.

Geoff - enough is enough - make that Dr's appointment!!

Love our shop - would like a broomstick!

Jean, the only time I have that much chocolate in my house is Halloween - the Cubs know where I live so we get lots of callers.

We were supposed to be making wormerys last night with the Cubs but the worms got stuck due to the floods. So we have the wormerys ready for their arrival, hopefully next week.

I got 14 - also got the dog one wrong and the Rule Britannia one wrong. Also the population one. Will hang my head in shame!

Quiet afternoon - boss has unexpectedly been out all afternoon, but I'm still struggling with these difficult reports, so keep getting sidetracked. Just read an article about a lady who found something revolting in a Tesco sandwich. Am glad I don't eat pre-packed sandwiches.

Was about to say morning all but just realised its now afternoon! Am struggling with some difficult reports at the moment. There's still no coffee but I do have a few sachets of cappucino mix hidden in the drawer so all is not lost. Might have to pop to the supermarket at lunchtime though - and put in an expenses claim!

No rain here today either - cloudy with a few bits of blue.

Becks, how is the costume search going? My Dad made a fantastic Dougal from the Magic Roundabout costume out of lots of sisal when we were kids - my brother wore it and I was dressed as Florence! I think we won a prize.

Or this one, which is reversible so 2 outfits in one!

I never had any little princesses to dress up - so used to have to borrow my nieces.

I read an article the other day about how trampolines are responsible for lots of injuries. I think its small children jumping on them that are responsible actually - and if they weren't doing that they'd be jumping on or off something else, i.e. the sofa! The twins have a trampoline but they call it their 'jumpoline'.

Maud, sounds like my kind of shopping trip!

Yes kids are definitely a bind - even though he is nearly 20 - but he's the baby of the family and has always caused me more sleepless nights than the other two!

I know it wasn't my turn to buy the coffee - I bought it last time. And the milk!

Morning all. Been a bit busy the last couple of days with family stuff, so been absent - hope you got my note. Suffice to say I don't think son no. 3 will be at college much longer, but we will wait and see.

Pam your greenhouse is beautiful. Glad you liked the courgette cake.

Have a crisis at work this morning - there's no coffee!!!

A bit of blue in the sky at the moment but I'm not sure how long it will last.

Wow what a lot of posts to catch up on!

I am a woman of a certain age with tools as well - have my own sander & hammer. Plus of course my own decorating tools.

Inka, you might find that once it starts to rain it won't stop again...that seems to have been what happened here as soon as they brought in the hosepipe ban! Hope your plants manage to survive.

Yesterday I made 4 courgette cakes, intending to freeze a couple of them. I left them to cool on the kitchen worktop, went back later to store them and there were only 3 and some crumbs! I think there were a number of culprits.
