Lunch at the GC turned out to be expensive - I came back with a dress! Well at least I have something to wear for my half-birthday party now, but I hope the weather warms up a bit!
About 12 weeks from planting, have a little rummage around in the soil and see what you can find! Some varieties of potato flower and others don't - just to be confusing.
GC for lunch today - I ought to go to the plot but I think its likely to be wet. That's my excuse anyway. Will have to refrain from spending at the GC.

I have done so much painting my arm is aching - and I've only stopped for a break! Have to go back to it soon. We were going to paint outside but the weather changed our plans so now the inside is getting painted first.
I have discovered a pair of goldfinches are building a nest in the creeper right next to my bedroom window....hope they have better luck than the robins!

Yep, we are building her 2 raised beds and I'm going to the stables after work today to shovel up some lovely manure!

There will be no barbeque. Its a garden party - same as the Queen has at Buck House. Queen of potatoes has to follow royal protocol you know.

Dress code is casual - whatever you feel comfortable in but NO speedos or sandals with socks! Flip flops are ok.
