Bjay, you may find its not actually still there but has scratched your throat and what you can feel is the scratch - but yes, definitely the docs for you tomorrow! Ouch.

A balloon? Don't mind if I do! Thanks Geoff.

Hello all! Happy Page 1000!!

Been for a quick trip to the GC this morning to get a birthday present for my friend - her birthday is tomorrow. Then a trip into Camberley for various bits and pieces, and now home for an afternoon of tea and cake in front of a good film (I hope!)

I didn't have time for a long browse round the GC so will have to go back again (any excuse) as I noticed quite a few people at the tills with seed potatoes and I want to try a few of the varieties Pam suggested.

Becks, many congratulations on the new nephew!

Sasha, just don't wander off too far - stay in sight, ok?

Kate and Geoff had already initiated a long chat thread on another forum (that quite a few of us also contributed to) and when that forum was closed down we migrated over to here. Kate started this thread and its grown.....and grown.....and grown! Much like the other one did (where I believe the original question was about wallflowers but soon went off topic!)

Bear with is spelt bear, bare body is spelt bare!

Been to collect son no. 3 from work, son no. 2 cycled home.

Crispy duck and pancakes and loaded potato skins - decided to have a bit of both. Will probably end up with indigestion but after the mammoth clearing out session and downsizing of my wardrobe I think I deserve it (the food, that is, not the indigestion!)

Sasha, am bearing with!

Jo has a secret stash of tea towels - the woman never ceases to amaze me!

Loaded potato skins for my tea tonight - or there's the rest of the crispy duck and pancakes from last night.....hmmm, decisions decisions.

Not sure I can cope with all this talk about gardening! Anyone would think this was a gardening forum

Lots of talk of cold frames and clearing bedrooms on here. In our house an Arran jumper is known as a cauliflower jumper, for obvious reasons.

I'm pleased about Grandad, I really didn't think he'd ever come out to be honest. He's been having physio and been building up a bit of strength, and the doctor says there's actually nothing wrong with him apart from being very old. He did get a mild infection but that seems to have been sorted, I hope.

Ok, break over, back to bedroom clearing. Got a big bag of stuff for charity, another for the loft and another for just rubbish. I also found a slice of (dry) toast - Alfie looks guilty....

Coffee and muffin here - my waistline is ever expanding!

Grandad looks likely to come out of hospital soon - they are hoping to send him home next week.

Hello all. Lots going on today it seems. I'm not going to be able to get out into the garden as I must spring clean my bedroom now that I can get the clothes back into the wardrobe.

Have already been to the tip, taken son no. 3 to work and found the hens have left me one egg.

I've got a peanut feeder in the garden and half the peanuts have gone but I've not seen anyone visiting it. Am wondering who the culprit could be!

No that was me having the birthday party, not Flo. Second time we've been confused in a few days! Might have to change my name.

Off to bed in a min, OH and son no.2 watching Demolition Man.....for the thousandth time!

Night night Forkers everywhere.
