Shady blooms from seed - Help!

Posted: 13/02/2014 at 20:46

My garden is mostly in the shade of 2 big poplars, 1 birch and 1 very large magnolia.  Things which grow well are cyclamens which spread very quickly, hellebores which self-seed profusely, geraniums (there are many blue variety), foxgloves, bergenias, snow-drops which are beautiful at the moment, hebes,  hydrangas. Most of my plants were obtained from friends (cuttings, divisions, seeds). I love swapping plants ! so in fact I spend very little money, but I am prepared to wait for things to grow in their own time and it is exciting to watch them develop !
