Is it a musical thingy, do your blow it, paper and comb, give us another clue

Geoff .. You can put any game meat in game pie, mine today has pheasant, partridge and venison, with carrot, onion, mushrooms and flavoured with juniper berries, thyme and bay, red wine and chicken stock.

Sorry you're suffering, Becks, hope you are soon better.

What's the weather like in your area?

Nr Lincoln.

Beautiful cold day. No clouds in the sky. We had a severe frost overnight and it has blackened a lot of the plants that were hanging on.

Saw a robin skating on the pond a while ago. He had been down for a drink on the moving part of the water and then slid across the ice. He looked very funny.

Well, Good afternoon. Have I stepped into pantoland? Since I last visited everyone has changed their names and avatars, so it will take a bit to catch up with everyone's ID. Must look for something appropriate for myself.

I have been really busy over the past few days, visiting, shopping and doing the rounds.

Have managed to pick up a few bargains, ie 4- 60 ltr bags of Erin multipurpose compost for £10, used it last season and found it to be the best compost we tried.

Geoff, had to titter  (pardon the pun) at your latest cartoon.

Going to make a game pie for this evenings meal, practice run for a Christmas get together, smells alright so far, only got the meat and gravy made so far.

Now to find suitable id.

Catch you later.

Yes nobby's is a midlands  expression. I was brought up in Nottingham where they were always call nobby sprouts, or just nobs, I haven't heard it recently though as I moved to Lincolnshire when I got married.

Morning All.   Beautiful bright morning after a hard frost, everywhere white over when I got up at about 7. Wind coming from North West, so I expect it to be very cold when I eventually venture out, but that is better than the rain, it will give things a chance to dry out

Morning numerous forkers.

Trust everyone is well.

My cat has just been sitting in the window watching the birds on the bird table, chattering away to herself, she has now gone to sleep on the sofa, no doubt for the rest of the day.

Jo, I too can understand your frustration with your oh hoarding,. I am determined to clear out a wardrobe of OH stuff, but each time I try all I get is " you can't throw that away, it's good stuff". with a bit of luck we might part with a couple of things.

Becks you made me smile at Crinkly Bottom Hall. - that's what I call it, I just can't seem to get the right title. We used to watch Noel Edmunds and Mr Blobby on Saturday evening, I half expect him to come out of one of those cupboards. Not sure it has lived up to my expectations.I think I will get the book from the library and see if that is any more scary. Hope you and Jess are feeling better.

Off to town shortly, see what I can find, on my own this time, Oh wants to come home as soon as we get there

Have a good day.

Morning All,

Just a quick visit, I seem to have been sooooo busy, what with one thing or another, I haven't had time to drop in, so don't know what's been going on, far too may posts to catch up with. Hope all of you are keeping dry, it's been horrendous everywhere, sympathies go out to all the people flooded, it must be a nightmare to see all you house and things ruined.

We are going to go over to Brigg shortly. There's a very good GC there, hope to pick up a few more Christmas presents, and then have lunch.

Have a good day.
